| One of the original eight Parishes of Colchester town centre, St Peters at the top of North Hill survived the dissolution and subsequent closures of other parish churches in the town. It is now one of the three Anglican Churches serving the town centre, The Parish Priest for the town centre, Rev'd Fred Woods is responsible for this church as well as St. Botolph's.
