St Botolphs

Built in 1835 next to the ruins of St Botolphs Priory, the present church is one of two town centre Parish Churches under the incumbancy of Rev'd. Fred Woods. Fred's second Church is St Peters . At St. Botolphs Fred is assisted by Rev'd. Alison Finch who has a part time post as assistant priest and a further part time post as Industrial Chaplain to Colchester.

St Botolph's has a covenant with Castle Methodist Church which the members value greatly. Further details can be found on the Castle Methodist Church site.

St. Botolph's has a strong musical tradition and having an excellent accoustic and considerable flexibility, is often used for concerts.
